| Description | Ivermectin is complex of 22,23-dihydro C-076 Bla and Blb and it's a kind of antibiotics formed by Streptomyces avermitilis. It's macrocyclic latone working on the various nematode and arthropod. Ivermectin's effect on the parasites is related with motility reduction. Bla increases the release of GABA from the nervous synapse terminal. Increse of GABA leads hyperpolarization of post-synapse cells and make difficult neurotransmission irritating muscles. |
