Product Detail Information

Before we can understand how toothpaste works, we must first understand our mouths. Your mouth is your own private zoo, containing one or more of 500 types of Microorganisms. Some of these, mainly streptococcus mutans, create microorganisms. Some of these, mainly streptococcus mutans, create sticky plaque from food residue in your mouth. Microorganisms in our mouth feed on leftover food to create acid and particles called volatile sulfur molecules. Acid eats into tooth enamel to produce cavities while volatile sulfur molecules give breath its foul odor. Toothpaste works in tandem with tooth brushing to clean teeth and remove plaque bacteria. Dueto these functions of tooth paste, we can clean tooth effectively and keep them balmily.

For brushing tooth, we usually use toothpaste. Here, toothpaste plays a very important role. However, using toothpaste too much is not good for oral hygiene. We can not properly feel the flavors of the apple or tangerine right after brushing our tooth. This is because “Sodium laurel sulfate (SLS)” paralyzes taste buds on tongue. In general, it takes at least one or two hours for taste buds to recover their sensitivity. Therefore, while cleaning tooth, we should not use toothpaste too much. But, toothpaste plays a very crucial role in the tooth brushing process. It is very important to apply the appropriate amount of toothpaste to a toothbrush, and to brush tooth properly.

While tooth are being cleaned, toothpasteworksfor:

  1. Neutralizing toxic materials in the mouth
  2. Removing plaque from tooth
  3. Filling small holes in teeth
  4. Making “Fluor apatite”
  5. Whitening tooth
