Spherical roller bearings
1. The spherical roller bearings have two rows of rollers with a common sphered raceway in the outer ring and two inner ring raceways inclined at an angle to bearing axis.
2. They are self-aligning and consequnently insensitive to misalignmient of the shaft relative to the housing and to shaft deflection or bending.
3. The two rows of rollers make the bearings able to carry heavy loads.
4. Depending on the bearing series and size, there are many different designs. The differences are the arrangements of the floating guide as well as the design of the inner ring or cages.
5. The types of the bearings mainly include open bearings, sealed bearings, and bearings for vibratory applications
