TETRA-EPS is highly efficient power supply unit. By replacing less efficient AC to DC power
supply unit to highly efficient integrated DC (12V) for every existing PC, TETRA-EPS
reduces power consumption up to 35%. By blocking the heat source, TETRA-EPS allows the utilization of less cooling devices, leading to additional reduction in electricity
consumption and environmental improvement.
How can TETRA-EPS save energy?
Typically, power supply units maximize energy efficiency when it's load is over 50%. Normal servers have load limit of 20 to 30% which prevents it from achieving maximum energy efficiency. TETRA-EPS supplies power to multiple servers to generate load over 50% and to achieve energy efficiency. TETRA-EPS holds 3 to 8 power supply units for Smart Power Module Control (SPC). SPC allows automatic switch on and off of power supply units, depending on server loads.
