Coating for sand core and sand molding of resin-bonded sand, sodium silicate-bonded sand and clay-bonded.
Features of Water-based Coatings
1. Good thixotropy and levelling property with no brush mask.
2. No sand burning, smooth casting surface, easy cleaning.
3. High permeability, proper intensity, stable suspension property.
4. Low gas evolution, avoiding porosity defects of castings.
Used- Method
1. Measuring Baume Degree after it is static by stiring uniformly.
2. Ajusting the coatings' density and viscosity to meet different coating method.
3. Cleaning up the sand on the surface of mold core.
4. Hanging the coating uniformly on the surface of mold core.
5. Applied to spray, brush, flow coating, dip coating, etc
6. Coating again after drying
