Galvanized welded iron wire mesh
is
made of high quality iron wire and welded by advanced automatic precision
welding equipment. After processing of galvanize, It has the fine characters of
flat even surface, good anti-corrosiveness, firm welding point, structure and
strong collectivity. It will not come loose even though a part is cut. The
galvanised coating provides protection from rust and comes with a three-year
warranty providing the product is not used within 1500m of a marine location. A
variety of aperture size and wire diameters are available to suit a huge range
of industrial or agricultural applications such as storage facilities,
enclosures, fencing and shelving.
GBW: Galvanized Before Welded
During the welding process, single strands of galvanized wire pass through the
welder. The rust-preventing galvanizing is burned off at the weld points where
the wires intersect. Water will collect at these weld points where the
galvanizing is compromised, causing rust. GBW wire is a general purpose welded
wire mesh panel which is ideal to use for small animal cages, such as rabbits.
It can aslo be used as a low-cost wire fence, dog kennels and a variety of
other uses.
GAW: Galvanized After Welded
The strands of wire are welded together. Next the fabricated welded wire mesh
panel passes through total immersion in a bath of molten zinc. The entire mesh
panel, and most importantly the welded areas, are completely sealed and
protected against rust and corrosion by the thick galvanizing. This mesh panel
is particularly useful for animal cages and enclosures, or other applications
where rust prevention and long life are desired.
