Stainless Steel Perforated Mesh is an excellent corrosion resistant mesh that lasts longer than the mild steel. The welded mesh is not woven, but joined by resistance welding that provides rigid and reliable welds without using filler metals in the joints. It is used when non-toxic and non-fraying material with big opening is needed. The hole size varies from pencil size to 2 inch squares.

The Basic Types of Stainless Steel Perforated Mesh:
SUS 304: The basic stainless steel alloy has melting point about 1430oC. It can be used at the high temperature up to 790oC and is also useful for moderate temperatures up to 900oC. It is used in sorting and screening of abrasives, liquids, powders and other solids. It is an affordable alloy but less corrosion resistant than SUS 316. 
SUS 316: Stainless steel 316 offers excellent resistance to corrosion by acids, salts and marine water. It has melting point about 1375oC and the maximum service temperature about 815oC. It is also useful up to 900oC. It is used in the processing of oil, food, chemicals and pharmaceuticals.
