Manufacturing Process & Applications
Compact Fused Alumina is made of High Purity Alumina Powder(Aluminium Oxide) and Reducer/Deoxidizer melted in electric arc furnace under high temperature. The materials are fused, cooled down, crushed and milled into various sizes for different refractory applications. Featuring High Content of Aluminium Oxide(Al2O3 96%min), Low Porosity(4%max), Acid & Alkali Resistance, Wear Abrasion Resistance, Good Volume Stability under high temperature, Compact Fused Alumina is a high grade refractory raw material among artificial corundum products, widely used in metallurgical, steel making, petrochemical, ceramic, glass, cement and building industries, mainly used as refractory ramming mass of blast furnace tapping launder,the castable filling,as well as good materials for the producing steel elongated nozzle,sliding plate and the varieties of corundum bricks.
