LOCK NUTS:
Deepak Brass Industries manufactures Lock Nuts for Cable Glands.
Brass Locknuts are the recommended items used in securing brass cable glands, unions, adaptors, reducers, and stopper plugs to a gland plate or into equipment.
Zinc Plated Mild Steel locknuts are a cost effective alternative to brass locknuts and should only be used in dry, low humidity conditions.
SERRATED WASHERS :
Deepak Brass Industries manufactures Serrated Washers in Stainless Steel, these ‘shake-proof’ Serrated Washers are fitted internally to the equipment before a locknut and act as an anti-vibration device to prevent the Cable Gland or accessory from inadvertently loosening in service. Self-loosening should be avoided, this can occur through relative motion over time even without vibration, due to differential thermal effects caused as a result of either differences in temperature or differences in clamped materials.
EARTH TAGS :
Deepak Brass Industries Earth Tags, installed between the Cable Gland and equipment, provide an earth bond connection as specified in BS6121:Part 5:1993 and comply with category B rating specified in IEC 62444.
Earth Tags have been independently short circuit tested to verify their suitability under specified service conditions. A copy of the test report is available upon request and is an important factor when selecting earth tags from any manufacturer, as without this the safety of installations may be compromised. Stainless steel, aluminium and nickel plated brass earth tags are also available.
PVC SHROUDS :
Deepak Brass Industries Shrouds are made from high grade poly vinayl chloride. Shroud manufacturing from two different process, one is Dip moulding and another one is Injection moulding. The Shrouds are required to use with all cables glands to provide additional ingress protection and to minimize the risk of dust or any other foreign substance to accumulate around cable gland body. The arrow end of the sleeves is readily cut with a knife, enabling it to be slipped over a wide range of cable diameters and assists ease of installations. Standard Shrouds are produced from black PVC. But we also manufacture LSF shroud as per customer’s requirement. LSF shroud mostly used in grey colour but we also supply in white, red, blue colour.
ROUND HEAD STOP PLUG:
Deepak Brass Industries manufactures Stop Plug that are designed for sealing or closing any unused entries in electrical enclosures, equipment and junction boxes, etc. Stop Plug are always used with O ring to seal properly. Stop plug are also used for maintain integrity of enclosure and IP rating of equipment. Stop Plug are generally available in Nickle Plated Brass, Mild Steel and Nylon.
