Product Information
Zirconia Fused Alumina, also called Zirconia Fused Aluminium Oxide, Zirconium Aluminum Ozide, ZA, is a member of the artificial corundum group for abrasives. It's made from fusion of aluminum oxide and chromium oxide under high temperature in electric arc furnace. The fused material is cooled down, crushed and graded into grits suitable for abrasives according to FEPA standard. It has high hardness, strength, high density, chemical stability, anti heat shock etc. Zirconia Fused Alumina is widely used in abrasives and refractory industry. Based on its Zirconium Oxide content, there mainly two grades: ZA25 and ZA40.
