Chlorine sensor with membrane-covered, amperometric 3-electrode system. For the measurement of free inorganic chlorine with reduced pH dependence, also in seawater.

Product description:
• Measurement: NaClO (sodium hypochlorite), Ca(OCl)2 (calcium hypochlorite),Cl2 (chlorine gas), electrolytically generated chlorine
• Calibration: at the controller, via analytical chlorine determination by DPD-1 method,
• Interferences: 75 % of ClO2-concentration, 80 % of O3-concentration, combined chlorine may increase the measuring value
• pH range: 4 ... 9,
• Pressure range: 0 ... 3.0 bar, no pressure surges and/or fluctuations,
• Temperature range: 5 ... 45 °C,
• Integrated automatic temperature compensation,
• Response time: T90 approx. 2 min.,
• Flow rate: approx. 30 l/h, low flow-dependence,

MWC Disinfection

We offer different systems of disinfection like chlorine dioxide (ClO2) units, elelctrolysis systems and UV disinfection.

MWC chlorine dioxide (ClO2) disinfection units generate aqueous chlorine dioxide automatically acc. to the acid chlorite process. Our systems are used for the disinfection area of potable water, brewing, washing from food & beverage, algae and biofilm removal in cooling systems. 

MWC electrolysis disinfection systems enable a safe and efficient method of water disinfection. Electrolysis uses salt, water and electricity for an on-site production of fresh, highly active chlorine for an effective disinfection.

MWC UV disinfection is extremely effective of harmful non chemical method of disinfection. This has the advantage that the water retains its natural smell and taste and the formation of harmful. UV systems are easy to install and maintain.
 

MWC Accessories
In accordance with our MWC sensors we offer different type of MWC flow cells.

They are easy to install and the corresponding versions are also suitable for relatively high temperatures and pressures.

Impurities, dirt and solid particles in the water are particularly problematical for membrane covered sensors. So it is important to install a suitable

MWC pre-filter in front of the measuring point in order to protect the sensor membrane and avoid any interference with the sensor signal.
