We overdeveloped first through paint / coating ultrasonic thickness gauge or Chinese make in 2006. UM 2D Has The ability to measure through and Eliminate the thickness of paint or coatings on the surface or Measured material.
In normal measurement mode, the time interval between T1 Transmitted pulse and first back wall echo (coating thickness is included). In through paint / coatings measurement mode, the time interval T2 between two successive backwall echoes (coating thickness is excluded)
UM series are extremely Suitable for measuring the pipes after corrosion.
Each gauge is calibrated nonlinearly with 34 standard test blocks before delivery.
