1. How AlcoHunter Lite is different from other AlcoHunter series testers:

1. The operating principle of AlcoHunters is based on conductivity changing of built-in semiconductor transmitter sensitive to ethanol vapor content in exhaled breath. Adsorption of ethanol changes the conductivity of semiconductor transmitter, that change is converted into an electrical signal. The value of measured electrical signal is converted into the ethanol concentration in blood and exhalation that is displayed on the screen. A semiconductor transmitter is used in this model, the measurement error of which is not more than 25%, while other models have 10% measurement error.

2. AlcoHunter Lite does not have a multifunctional display, it’s equipped with simple 3-character LED screen.

3. AlcoHunter Lite does not have humidity, temperature and pressure compensation system.

4. AlcoHunter Lite is not capable of measuring extremely low doses of alcohol while other models show the results with an accuracy of 0,01 permille.

5. Results are displayed only in permille without BAC% and mg/l readings.

6. AlcoHunter Lite is not equipped with a self-testing function, so you need to supervise the test counter.

7. There is no weak blowing control; device checks the fact of blowing only.
