Flame Retardant Lydorflam 5020
Description
Ø Type: Low halogen phosphorus flame retardant (master batch).
Ø Lydorflam 5020 is a flame retardant masterbatch based on phosphorus, nitrogen and bromine factors.
Ø Through gas phase and the condensed phase flame retarding mechanism to realize flame retardancy. 4-6% adding dose will meet UL-94 V2 flame retardant requirement and successfully pass IEC60695-2 glow-wire test.
Ø Compared with traditional bromine flame retardants, low additive amount and antimony trioxide(Sb2O3) is not required to be added.

Characteristics
Ø No precipitation: Baking in 130℃ for 168H, no precipitation on surface.
Ø High dielectric strength: dielectric strength > 6000V.
Ø Water resistance: Immerse in 75℃ for 168H, has an excellent flame resistance.
Ø Meet the requirements of IEC60695-2-13 775℃ and IEC60695-2-12 850℃.
Ø Good performance in high temperature thermal ageing, after 150℃, 2000H thermal ageing test still maintains in a good condition.
Ø Can be combined with different minerals such as talc powder, barium sulfate, etc.
Ø Non-toxic.
Typical Applications
It is mainly used for flame retarding for high impact polypropylene, extrusion, injection molding and other plastic products processing.
Precautions
Ø Due to less adding proportion, uniform dispersion is essential to meet the requirements of flame retardant.
Ø Equipment is required to ensure accurate temperature control, to avoid local overheating that resulting in decomposition of flame retardant. Recommended processing temperature setting range: 170℃~ 190℃.
