Introduction and characteristic
Rotary kiln is the calcining kiln (commonly known as rotary kiln), which belongs to the device class materials. Kiln according to different materials can be divided into cement kiln, metallurgy chemical kiln and lime kiln. Cement kiln is mainly used for calcining cement clinker production of dry and wet cement kiln cement kiln production of two categories. Metallurgy chemical kiln is mainly used in metallurgical industry, steel plants depleted iron ore magnetic roasting; chromium, nickel, iron ore roasting; high alumina refractory bauxite ore roasting plant and aluminum roasting clinker, aluminum hydroxide; chemical chromium ore roasting and chrome ore and other minerals. Lime kiln (ie active lime) for firing steel mills, ferroalloy plant with active lime and light burned dolomite.
Working Principle
Rotary dryer adopts direct flow type of heating with heat soure from firing unit. The material to be dried is pushed back immindiately by spiral board when enters the shell from feeding tank and feeding chute. Because the dryer is installed in slope, material flows to the back end under gravity and rotation force, meanwhile, it is lifted by board repeatedly and thrown down accordingly, which make the material form even curtain, and exchange heat sufficiently with inner the heat flow. In the end, water in the material is dried by repeatedly scattering.
