Product Information
MID-C404 is a synthetic polymer used to help prevent gas migration in deep and high temperature conditions. It delays the static gel strength of the cement and lowers the fluid loss of slurry. MID-C404 can be used for wells with gas flow potentials. This additive controls fluid loss control and increases the slurry to an extent. Adding dispersant will reduce the viscosity of the slurry.
MID-C404 can be used in fresh water and salt water cement slurries with temperatures between 80-360℉.
The recommended dosage is 0.5%-1.5% (Bwoc) depending on well’s temperature and solids to water ratio. In case of reducing the dosage it would be possible to achieve a better compressive strength.
