In April 2015, an Indonesian buyer sent an inquiry stating, "Please send detailed information on the product introduction, types, price (FOB conditions) and shipping conditions of kitchenware to be supplied to a home shopping channel in Indonesia", through the "Global Business Matching Service (GBMS)" of tradeKorea.
The matching specialist of tradeKorea identified the buyer as a vendor of home shopping companies in Indonesia who was looking for Korean kitchenware supplies to be sold on TV home shopping. The buyer stated that the customers who mainly use TV home shopping are at least middle-class consumer in urban areas, such as Jakarta in Indonesia, who are mostly housewives. The buyer requested the recommendation of products related to cosmetics, jewelry, housewares and kitchenware.
The tradeKorea matching specialist began to look for Korean manufacturers to match with the buyer based on the product details and requests received.
