Stem Rubber Ring(Stem O-Ring) Replacement
- To remove the stem set screw, dismantle the actuator first and loosen the set screw (countersink rivet) in the plate (bracket) attached to the valve, and turn the plate counter-clock-wise as shown in the picture.
- Must remove the stem carefully using the proper tools, such as long-nose.
- Do not use sharp tools when replacing the rubber ring to minimize risk of ring damage.
- Slowly turn the stem left and right, and fully insert the key portion of the stem into the end of the ball groove.
Perform steps as shown in diagrams 5 and 6. Be sure to test after locking the plate set screw into place and check whether the driver is running properly.
