This battery charger is designed to charge the battery at a certain preset level at all times regardless of the change of AC power input or battery's discharging level to prevent unexpected damage to the battery caused by overcharging or
over-discharging. And it supplies constant level of DC voltage so that DC power is supplied with no break to the load from the battery in case of an outage of the utility power.
