EQ Joint
│ DESCRIPTION │
EQ joint is a press type connection system of stainless steel pipes in which the pipe and the fitting are pressed simultaneously in a hexagonal or circular shape for sufficient connection strength. Water pressure can be maintained according to the compressive deformation of the rubber ring.

- Reduced operation hours
The operation is completed as soon as the pipe is inserted into an EQ joint and pressed by a press tool (for about 10 seconds). A conventional operation using a bolt and nut requires time for fitting, but this operation can be completed instantaneously with the EQ joint, thereby saving substantial time and cost for piping. - No skilled labor necessary
In a conventional operation using a bolt and a nut, the operator needs to be highly proficient in the operation. However, a specialized press tool is used in the EQ joint system, which provides the same connection strength regardless of the user’s proficiency. - Fire - free
EQ Joints do not require welding at the site. Therefore, it is safer than a traditional welding method and proper for home plumbing maintenance. - Enhances clean environment
Cutting oil or compounds are used for bolt-nut type joints, and there is a possibility of heavy metal contamination in the case of soldering. The EQ joint is free of those contaminants. - Lightweight piping
Since the EQ joint employs thin stainless steel, it facilitates greater water flow than a pipe with the same diameter, and it is better fitted for the lightweight pipe needed for a high-rise building

EQ joint system is based on the introduction of technology from Germany and Japan, and in both countries KSD 3695 (general stainless steel piping) has been used for a long time. SAS 352 as its joint is used in water supply and heating. In Korea KSB 1547 (general stainless steel piping press-type joint) is used in various fields.
Water pipe used hitherto in building does not last due to scale and rust deteriorating the building. But EQ joint is of stainless steel being semi-permanent without any rust and scale which make it possible to provide clean and clear water always.
The joint can be connected after EQ joint being put in pipe which is pressed by using a tool, and then joint and pipe are he×agonally and elliptically pressed to be sufficiently connected while pressed modification of rubber ring can contribute to the reduction of construction cost.
