SONARE CONSOLLET SE is a typical vacuum tube pre-amplifier.
You may listen to very vacuum tube-like timbre that you expect from vacuum tube pre-amplifier.
I think the vacuum tune-like timbre is sweet and tender timbre full of sufficient background sound filling the space.
It is designed with a target to maximize unique sound characteristics that Vacuum tube has.
In SONARE, it has been evaluated to adopt all functions if they are required for user.
Someone who knew that pre-amplifier with no function is a premium amplifier may not understandable, but I am a mania enjoyed audio in my whole life before an engineer.

Now, most of pre-amplifier acts as preliminary amplifier role, however, I think that operating various function of pre-amplifier shall provide more fun and satisfaction.
It is the great pleasure for mania to listen music in optimized setting by adjusting high and low sound properly according to disc as being a conductor of orchestra.
Sometimes, tone control function may not be needed.
For such case, tone defeat switched is adopted.
When this switch is turned on, as sound is output skipping tone circuit, so it is same that there is nothing on circuit.
Nowadays, many people enjoy A/V.
However, if you want to enjoy A/V together with orthodox audio, you have to connect the output from A/V processor to power amplifier.
For this, no pre-amplifier is needed so it is troublesome to connect the cable from processor to power amplifier.
Instead, you can simply turn on the bypass switch on front panel while just inserting the main output terminal of A/V processor to the bypass terminal of SONARE CONSOLLET.
As reel deck sound quality is excellent, there are a lot of manias enjoying reel deck.
Tape monitor switch is prepared for reel deck mania.
In the market, there is a power amplifier which has various gains.
As there is no standard how to stipulate gain in power amplifier, each designer makes different gain, so there are various gains.
Accordingly, to drive power amplifier which has various gains effectively, I prepared out level to vary output voltage.
Out level control function is equipped to control output level if required.
Gain is variable continuously in 0~15 times.
