The KM451 ambulance is designed to evacuate the wounded quickly from the battlefield over rugged terrain. The van body space is wider than that of a quarter-ton truck to allow for the safe treatment of several casualties at once. Up to eight lightly wounded can be transported at the same time or the beds in the central aisle can hold as many as five seriously wounded. Air conditioner systems are equipped in cabin and ambulance van body.
