1.Fused silica powder

Chem&Size minerals is manufacturer/factory of fused silica powder which is made of fused silica ingot/lumps by Non Iron ball mills technology.Fused silica ingot/lumps is made of high purity crystal silica by electrically fusing (fusing temperature 1800-2000ºC) to amorphous Silicon dioxide, then it is classed to different grades by manual and then specially engineered to powder by ball mill. 

 

2.Fused silica Applications: 

 

High volume stability,high purity but low volumetric expansion makes fused silica sand a very useful and verstile material for refractory applications or other highly cyclical applications. Chem&size Minerals fused silica sand has an near zero thermal expansion coefficient,consistent chemistry and carefully controlled particle size distribution.Fused silica sand are designed for use in refractory,flow control/continuous casting,investment casting,precision casting,lost-wax process,technical thermal ceramic and other special applications.Fused silica powder has very high electrical resitivity and low thermal conductivity,so it used as filler in epoxy molding compounds for semi-conductors and fusion bounded epoxy powder coastings.

 

3.Applications Details Product: to make crucibles that produce solar cells board in the photo-voltaic industry. Fused silica powder is used to make rollers, castables, mortars, gunning mixtures and forming tools in the glass industry,make technical ceramic in the thermal resistance industry,to make ceramic slurry in investment and to make Acidic acid refractory,Fused silica precast shapes,Fused silica big blocks and fused silica castables.

Chem&Size minerals is capable of making powders with different particle size distribution.Particle sizing is controlled using the most up-to-date particle size analyzers.
