This is an inductive type sensor which detects metal objects (aluminum, nickel, magnesium,stainless
steel or copper) between the sensors by checking the amplitude and characteristics of change
generated by the metal disturbing electromagnetic field. 

It precisely induces the coil to the center of the equipment without being interfered even when the
detection part of the sensor is exposed to strong light, cutoff, or contaminated by substances other
than metal.
