We are glad to bring the good news for backpain. We now introduce a device called "Leadback"
developed by a Korean slipped disk patient. The device aims to mitigate the back pain that disk
patients feel while sitting on a chair.
As you can see in the figure, it features a shoulder rest and a pressing disk for shoulder blades
added to a back support for the support of backbones.
The body weight of a driver or a sitter is placed on the shoulder rest and it automatically pushes the
pressing disk for shoulder blades. This causes the upper back located between the pressing disk
and the body to be pulled up. As a result, the weight or load exerted vertically on the spine becomes
reduced, and so does the pain. This explains why the device is useful in cutting down the back pain
while sitting on a chair.
