These products can be produced in both coil and straight. The size range starts from an outer diameter of 6mm, as per in the table.

Seam-welded tubes are produced by extruding and drawing stainless steel strips, and then welding them along the entire length. This product is cheaper than seamless and can be produce in much longer, continuous lengths.

The manufacturing process includes pilgering, rolling, heat treatment, and drawing. The primary material for Seamless tubes is stainless steel; however, it is also possible to manufacture them using nickel alloy, duplex, and super duplex.
