- Background
The metallic flexible duct (which was used in a shipyard) occurs air leakage because it is easy to break, cut, and tear, and dangerous because its cutting parts are very sharp. PVC COATING FLEXIBLE DUCT doesn’t accord to SOLAS rule; as smoke and toxic rules, and very weak to flames. Have to cut and use it by each part and work difficult in a small area. For this reason, we need another new production.
- Construction
This product, coated with silicone on both sides of the Fiber Glass Sheet, intercepts and delays the fire occurring inside the vessel. The ventilation duct should be non-combustible material according to SOLAS 2000 Ⅱ-2/9 7.1.1, and the duct should be made of fire spread delaying material.
- Application
SMT-Fire Flexible Duct is a range of fully flexible thermally insulated ducting, which has been specially designed for the HVAC market. When ventilation (spiral duct) is installed, connect the curved surface connecting area and square ventilation duct curved surface.
