PLLA (Poly-L-Lactic Acid, Polylactide) is an aliphatic thermoplastic polymer derived from 100% renewable resources.

PLA (Polylactic acid): Lactic acid has two optical isomers: L-lactic acid and D-lactic acid, with similar chemical and physical properties.

PLA is 100% biodegradable in the body after its function is complete.

At 1-2 weeks after injection, there is a loss of volume, but at 4-8 weeks, cell and collagen production restores volume.

Collagen is produced gradually over time as cells flow into the porous PLLA particles.

Collagen is Synthesized to Form New Tissue New Skin Cells Migrate to PLLA Particles, Which Decompose into H2O and CO2

New Cells Are Observed Already From the 2nd Week At 12 Weeks Cells Begin to Migrate to the Internal Parts of the PLLA Particles.

The formation of collagen leads to the formation of new tissue. Beginning in the 4th week, cells lodged in the PLLA produce new collagen.

• At the 2nd week after injection, active growth of cells migrating to the surface of the PLLA particles begins. These cells fill the empty space between particles.
• At week 8, all the voids between the PLLA particles are filled with cells, which begin to penetrate the pores of the PLLA particles. (Indicated by yellow arrows)
• At the 12th and 20th weeks of the cell, PLLA migrates into the particles, filling their interior.
• After injection, the filler remains in the same layer without migrating to other tissues or areas, as shown above in the image at 2 and 4 weeks after injection.

It only takes 20 minutes to suspend, enter deep into the skin and massage the area for even distribution.

Application

To prepare a 9 ml solution, 30 minutes before the procedure, add 7 ml of sterile Water for Injection (SWFI) and 2 ml of lidocaine into the Neophyl vial. ※Different protocols are possible by adjusting the amount of filler and SWFI.

Inject into the deep layers of the dermis, just above the Subcutaneous Fat Layer (which is deeper than other fillers), where the most active collagen production occurs

When preparing the solution, use an 18G needle; for the procedure, it is recommended to use a sterile cannula from 26G to 28G.

The injection is made above the Subcutaneous Fat Layer to enhance the lifting effect and tighten the skin tissue.

It is recommended to inject 1 ml into the injection area.
