Product Description
Daesun Distilling Co., Ltd. has announced a comprehensive renewal of its signature C1 soju, marking the first major update to the product in 13 years. The 2025 relaunch will feature a complete overhaul of its alcohol content, ingredients, and brand packaging to align with the latest trends in the alcoholic beverage market.
In a move to cater to the growing preference for lower alcohol options, the new C1 soju will have its alcohol by volume (ABV) lowered to 18%. Addressing health-conscious consumers, the reformulated beverage is now sugar-free, incorporating xylitol as a sweetener to reduce its caloric content.
A key highlight of the renewed C1 is its exceptionally smooth profile, achieved through a patented Far-Infrared Rays aging processing method developed by Daesun's top research and development team. This innovative method utilizes far-infrared wavelengths to interact with the water molecules that constitute over 80% of the soju. The process enhances the bond between water and alcohol while simultaneously reducing particle size, resulting in a remarkably smooth and clean taste.
