[Company Introduction] DONGNAM Petroleum Ind. Co., Ltd. is one of the major insulating oil producers in South Korea. Established in 1973, we have years of accumulated technical know-how, ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. We produce oils of various range, from distribution transformers to super high voltage transformers.Our transformer oil is being used in super high voltage transformers such as 765kV / 666.7MVA.We have developed and applied a super high purification technique to all our products which allowed new developments of high voltage transformers to be smaller and lighter.We have supplied to various projects such as substations, thermal power plants, combined cycle power plants and nuclear power plants for nearly a half century in Korea and has been exporting it around the globe.Our products meet and exceed the international standards such as IEC 60296, ASTM D 3487 and also customized specifications for our customers’ special needs. We have developed and patent registered our own environmentally friendly Natural Ester “BIOTRAN-35” which is UL Listed and FM Approved. We also produce various industrial lubricants and waxes. We guarantee our quality based on our vast technical experiences, Q.A management system which provides accurate oil and wax chemical analysis, using the state-of-the-art analysis equipment together with our highly skilled research technicians.
