Winning a Successful Contract for Importing Plant Equipment to the Middle East

 

The officer in tradeKorea in charge of matching an appropriate Korean exporter to a foreign client received an inquiry from a plant equipment buyer, via the branch office of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) in UAE on July 10, 2019. E**** Group has participated in large projects in the Middle East, CIS member states, and Asia to provide engineering services for more than 40 years in the fields of marine, petroleum, and gas. Initially, E*** Group mentioned a specific Korean company and wanted to be matched with the company. However, the matching officer in tradeKorea contacted the Korean company and found out that the company already had an exclusive buyer in the Middle East. As a result, the officer was unable to proceed with matching the company to the buyer.

 

After confirming whether the buyer is authentic, the officer matched 17 Korean companies to the buyer via tradeKorea’s Big Buyer Matching Service. The buyer has continued consultation with G-K****, headquartered in Busan, and entered into the contract with G-K**** for supply of seamless coil tubes after four months of discussions.
