The center helped the companies to launch products in the online exhibition hall within tradeKorea, create customized seller stores, and start bulk mailing for their marketing campaigns. In addition, the center guided them through their overseas diversification by identifying potential buyers and matching them with actual overseas buyers.

H, a participant in the support program, develops innovative skincare products and specializes in OEM and ODEM production. Known for its high-quality standards and technology, the company is exporting cosmetic products to the U.S., China, Japan, and Europe. The matching manager confirmed that H was capable of producing a product that would meet the requirements of Pure Glow Cosmetics Inc. of the U.S., which focuses on high-quality skincare products.

The U.S. buyer is consolidating its standing in the local market by promoting beauty brands with a focus on high-quality skincare products that use nature-friendly ingredients. The first meeting turned out to be positive as the two companies shared the same philosophy and vision of the product. However, they experienced difficulty working out the details of the deal in the product development process due to differences in the regulations of Korea and the U.S. The matching manager arranged multiple meetings to facilitate communication between the two parties and provided the required information as quickly as possible. The manager also provided utmost support to make sure that the two companies could iron out their differences and proceed with talks smoothly.

Long hours of talks allowed the two companies to build trust and successfully conclude an OEM contract for the collagen film for the face (forehead and around the eyes). The buyer placed an initial order of 4,000 sets worth USD 26,130. The two parties plan to work closely together and continue working together going forward.

The contract represents a successful case of collaboration made possible by mutual trust and the effective support provided by the matching manager, thereby laying the foundations on which the two companies can achieve even greater success in the global market.
