A buyer from America who was looking for a supplier of fabrics for garment manufacturing visited the showroom in the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) New York Center after obtaining the information about “Textile Sample Exhibition Based Export Fair,” which was co-hosted by KITA and KITA New York Center.

After visiting the KITA New York Center, the buyer was guided by the KITA staffs to check Korean companies’ samples as well as online pavilions. Afterwards, the buyer sent inquiries to 10 companies through tradeKorea. The matching specialist at tradeKorea actively supported the buyer’s purchase by recommending the product which was considered to meet the buyer’s need.

In July 2013, the matching specialist had received the sample from SuA Tex Co., Ltd. and delivered the sample to the buyer who expressed interest in knit fabric.  After receiving the sample, the buyer came to Korea in August 2013 and had a business meeting with SuA Tex with the help of matching specialist at tradeKorea. The buyer left Korea with the additional samples.

Since then, tradeKorea matching specialist assisted the buyer with further business meetings with SuA Tex for a few months. The matching specialist closely assisted the buyer with the adjustment of product specifications and price for the export. Finally, the buyer’s business partner and SuA Tex successfully signed a contract. The buyer acknowledged the excellence in quality of product of SuA Tex and the company will continue to expand its exports in the future.
