Shaped Wire Drawing Dies
Shaped wires are required in various sectors of industry.
For drawing non-round wire, the most common shapes are square, hexagonal and rectanqular. Shaped wire drawing dies incorporating a polycrystalline blank are providing higher precision and longer tool life compared with tungsten carbide drawing tools.
By employing special production methods, Wooyoung Dies is able to produce special profile drawing dies with small edge radii and to a very high accuracy. In profile drawing, the edges of the drawing hole in particular are subject to a great deal of wear and our polycrystalline diamond tipped shaped wire drawing dies can be expected to yield an even greater improvement over tungsten carbide in terms of tool life compared to standard round hole dies.
