Product Information
Plastic scintillator was a special material, which exhibited scintillation-the property of luminescence when excited by inoizing radiation, so that has been widely applied in the detection of alfa-, beta, gamma-radiation and fast neutrons when couped with photomultiplier.
Plastic scintillator offers high performance, ease of handling, mechanical stability at relatively low cost, the versatility of plastic scintillator makes them the ideal choice for large area and specially shaped detectors in customs, nuclear plants etc.
EPIC developed the plastic material with Polystyrene as based material, the sheet size range up to 80 inch(2.0m) long by 30 inch (750mm). Block are available up to 25 inch(625mm) long, while rods up to 80 inch(2.0m), also special size and shape were in availibility upon clients request.
