INTRODUCTION
Silica fume, also known as condensed silica fume, microsilica or micro silica fume, is amorphous silica with high SiO2 content, extremely small particle size, and large specific surface area. As a highly reactive pozzolan, it is usually used to improve the performance and strength of mortar and concrete.
