GENERAL
ㆍ Turnbuckle is a device for adjusting of wire rope, chan and wire rod.
ㆍ The service load of the turn buckle is the linearly acting maximum load.
ㆍ Never apply more force than the turnbuckle's assigned Safe Working Load (SWL/WLL) rating.
ㆍ Never used for lifting applications.
ㆍ Available turnbuckle assembly combinations: Eye and Eye, Hook and Hook, Jaw and Jaw, Hook and Eye, Hook and jaw
Jaw and Eye.(In case of SWL of Hook & Eye and Hook & Jaw is following the SWL of Hook & Hook)
ㆍ Forged jaw ends are fitted with bolts and nuts for 3/8″through 5/8″, and pins and cotters on 3/4″ through 2-3/4″
sizes.
ㆍ Lock Nut is available as per request.
ㆍ The locking nut should be used to avoid or reduce the loosening of the turnbuckle.
ㆍ The turnbuckle should be inspected for deformation, wearing or defect within at least 6 months.
ㆍ The products which exceed the limit of 5% in deformation or wearing should be relieved of their load and
replaced with new ones.
ㆍ The turn buckle is designed to be assembled with a shackle which is one size lower than the turn buckle
