The ALF autoclavable laboratory fermenter is based on laboratory autoclave
technique and Bioengineering's fermentation know-how.
As in all Bioengineering laboratory fermenters, the design of the drive unit
is among the salient features.
Because the autoclavable laboratory fermenter is conceived for a long duty cycle,
the motor power has been significantly overdimensioned and a novel magnetic
coupling has been designed.
