The TRUMPF LASERCELL 1005 features the very latest technology, providing economical solutions to highly demanding 3D processing tasks. Its modular design enables a broad range of options with regard to number of axes and working area. The installation can be adapted to suit customers' requirements precisely. The broad range of applications of the laser - cutting, welding and surface treatment - sharply increases the number of potential applications of the LASERCELL 1005.

Distinctive features of the new TLC include its large working area: the installation has a working range of 1500 mm in the Y direction, enabling the complete processing of particularly bulky workpieces. The size of the cutting head on the TLC 1005 has also been reduced still further, making it easier than ever to process 3D parts. In the 2D range, large-format sheets can also be processed.

Another new feature is the automatic generation of teach programs via an online camera system. Contours can be recorded by the automatic scanning of scribed lines by the camera, shortening teaching time considerably, sharply reducing the cost of programming Teach parts.
