LAMINATED FILM
The laminated film is a combination of both Breathable filmor Non-breathable film with non-woven fabrics made of poly-propyleneor polyester in two or more layers using adhesive or heat.
As a compound film that is both Air-permable and waterproof, and effective as a non-woven fabric as it is soft as cloth, the laminated film is widely used in disposable products that must be luxuriously smooth to the touch.
It is classified into four types according to the compounding method:
- Heatsealing laminated film
This film is produced by adhering the film to the non-woven fabric by the use of heat. The film is a highly priced and a quality competitive product as it does not use adhesives. - Hot melt applicator laminated film
This laminated film is produced by adhering the film to the non-woven fabric using a hot melt applicator. This film has superior softness and high adhesive strength. - Solvent Hot melt laminated film
It refers to a method in which the film and non-woven fabric are adhered using roll coater. It is widely applied to hygienic and medical films like stripe-laminated film. It does not need hardening or aging process. - Cold Glue laminated film
As a method to adhere the film and non-woven fabric using glue adhesive, this film has strong adhesive power and requires a certain hardening and aging time.
APPLICATIONS
It is used as a back sheet material as a non-crush waterproof cover of disposable Baby diapers and adult diapers or sanitary napkins for women.
As it has superior color fastness and strength, it is used as a material for the individual packaging of disposable sanitary towels. Recently, utilizing non-woven fabric, it is applied to products to improve cloth-like film.
Currently, it is widely used in areas requiring high strength and functional ventilation, such as in the housewrap of wooden houses, medical disposable gown, dehumidifying paper, hand warmer, etc.

Since HAN'S CORPORATION started to produce normal P.E.film for agricultural application in 1976, we have been continuously supplying non-breathable, breathable, perforated and cloth-like film to lots of hygienic goods manufacturers over the world.
In 1994, through the technology alliance with Polymer science department of Kyungpook national university, we have developed the breathable film, first in Korea. Cloth-like film was also produced domestically first by us. In 1997, with the accumulated technology on the production of breathable film, we've succeeded in making complete manufacturing line of breathable film and exported it to Taiwan. As a result, we won an official award of Prime minister for high overseas trade sales amount.
Main customers in domestic market are LG Chemical, Yuhan Kimberly, Daehan Pulp and Uni-charm, etc and in overseas market, Japanese, Taiwanese, Chinese and Italian manufacturers. Annual sales amounts to about 18 billion won(KRW) or so and is now increasing year by year.
