Features
This is the kind of pile that has been most widely used since the development of technical fur.
It refers to all piles produced in an applied weft texture, by circular knitting machines using staple fibers. It has acquired the title of Hi-Pile, since it can produce piles in various lengths from 4mm to 110mm, while BOA cannot produce piles over a specific length. As all the fabric materials made of staple fibers can be used, it enables flexible designs using the various physical properties of fibers. In the case of the major material, acrylic fiber, there are over 50 fur-targeted commercial fibers.
Especially, the toy material industry has considerably developed since the development of mod-acrylic with fire retardant properties. As well, the clothing material industry has been able to express a greatly improved color permanence and real feeling, with the development of DDF and contracting fibers.
