8ports VDSL DSLAM (OTS-V2108W)
The OTS-V2108W uses VDSL (Very high speed Digital Subscriber Line) technology to deliver high-bandwidth access and offers most efficient service such as VoD, IPTV and VoIP to both residential and business customers over existing telephone wiring.
The OTS-V2108W complied with ITU-T G.993.2 VDSL2 standard is the high performance DSLAM switch which transports the traffic at the speeds of up to 100Mbps for both downstream and upstream over copper twisted pair and is suitable for Fiber-to-the-Building (FTTB) application.
The MVD20024 supports OLR (online reconfiguration) function which enhances service stability by dynamically adapting the data rate without interrupting service for retraining.
The OTS-V2108W, wall-mountable with lockable housing, has built-in environment monitoring system which makes it possible for the operator to monitor such environment status as door open and temperature as well as system status at remote site. In addition, its fanless design features easy maintenance and no noise emission.
The OTS-V2108W supports such additional Layer 2 functions as STP (Spanning Tree Protocol), RSTP (Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol), Link aggregation, port-based VLAN, 802.1Q, mirroring and DHCP relay. IGMP snooping and IGMP proxy are also provided for efficient transmission of multicast traffic.
The OTS-V2108W supports powerful packet filtering (Layer 1 to Layer 4) functions and QoS for service security and quality improvement. NetBEUI/NetBIOS filtering, private DHCP server packet filtering and MAC address limitation per port can be realized through such packet filtering function.
