XIRE is a unique type of piezocable that produces electrical signals in response to the change in pressure or mechanical energy around the cable. This is a specific type of piezoelectric sensor made from a sophisticatedly engineered material, called "FLEXPZT"

│ Feature│

XIRE has the basic form as a coaxial cable. Its cross-sectional shape, dimensions and length are extremely flexible to fit our customers’ needs. This will provide our customers with new and unique applications having superior mechanical and thermal stability than polymer based one.

│ Specifications│

XIRE is also extremely reliable. It can endure one million of cyclic loading tests and maintain its sensitivity up to the temperature of 150°C, whereas polymer based material starts to degrade at 85°C. The main applications include intrusion detection, traffic monitoring and acoustic pick-up sensors. It can also be applied as the tactile sensor for intelligent and/or cleaner robots, the location sensing and/or the switching element for covering long and/or wide areas, and as the core element for dynamic analysis.
