│ DESCRIPTION │
Bee Venom is a bitter colourless liquid; its active portion a mixture of proteins, which causes local inflammation and acts as an anticoagulant. A honeybee can inject 0.1 mg of venom via its stinger.
│ FUNCTION │
- Bee venom has an effect on treatment of most immune diseases, enabling bee venom to stimulate the immune system of mammals and fight diseases effectively.
- Two main immune actions of bee venom is first, to stimulate the biological system of an organism and second, to increase immunity.
- The main ingredients of bee venom are very effective in inhibiting inflammation. In particular edema was considerably inhibited when melittin and apamin were injected against arthritis. Edema was inhibited by 15~40% even when pro-tease inhibitor and ado-lapin were injected.
- One of the most excellent effects of bee venom is hydrolysis. Melittin and phospholipase help absorb and excrete extrapolated blood of bruise, and internal bleeding, etc.
- In addition they provide the tissue with new blood, oxygen, and nutrition for treatment and hemolysis.
