Radial multi-pass carbonizer system
│ DESCRIPTION │
The radial multi-pass carbonizer system improves energy efficiency highly in industrial materials or wastes such as solid urban waste, sewage sludge, wood chip, food waste, etc, compared to ordinary kilin systems. The material produced here is mixed evenly and distributed sequentially in the radial muti-spaced areas of a rotary drum. The radial multi-spaced area creates optimum conditions for even carbonizing, allows enough retention time, self-ignition and finally leads to high energy efficiency and product quality.
This, in turn, is necessary for energy saving contributed by to both self-ignition of carbonized materials and minimizing energy loss on the drum surfaces.

│ FUNCTION │
A radial rotary carbonizer improves carbonizing efficiency magnificently for solid and other substances, prevents clogging phenomenon, and is realized in a simple structure. The radial rotary carbonizer includes spaces formed by inner and outer drums and partitioned by a plurality of radial plates. The inner and outer drum assembly is inserted into a tubular insulated shell as shown below. The substances, which have been introduced through a drum inlet together with hot blowing air, sequentially move throughout all spaces and are carbonized during axial rotation. The substances are discharged through an opposite side of the inner drum. A lift plate is attached at one surface of each radial plate to mix evenly. The radial rotary carbonizer is so small and simple, compared to an ordinary Kilin carbonizer. Furthermore, both self-ignition of materials and minimizing energy loss are the best advantages of this system, compared to any other systems.
