The difference lies in the raw material.
Unlike the ordinary carbonate of lime glass, this product is borosilicate glass containing a special heat-resistant composite of borosilicate which is safe, even with sudden temperature changes.
│ USE AND CARE │
- General
- keep away from open flame
- Avoid sudden temperature changes.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or scrubbers.
- Freezer
- After container has been frozen for long periods of time. wait 5-10 minutes before opening. Closures can break if opened immediately.
- Avoid freezing foods that could cause expansion in volume such as porridge, soup, stock, milk, juice, curry etc. Freezing these items may cause the container to crack.
- Microwave Oven
- Be sure to open the lid prior to microwaving. Product is intended for re-heating purposes only. (DO NOT USE FOR COOKING)
- When microwaving foods low in water, do not heat for more than 2 min.
- Conventional Oven
- Remove lid when using in oven
- When using in oven, remove the lid
- Do not exceed 500 °F
