Phthalic Anhydride
│ DESCRIPTION │
Phthalic Anhydride is the anhydride of phthalic acid(1,2-Dibenzoic acid). It is produced by the oxidation of ortho-Xylene. It forms white crystal at the room temperature. Its molten is a colorless, clear liquid. In contact with water it can be changed to Phthalic acid. The main applications are plasticizers, unsaturated polyester resins, alkyd resins, polyester polyols, dyes and pigments.

PA should be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area away from heat, sunlight, and ignition source. PA should be stored in container provided with fire resistance materials. PA is kept away from strong oxidizers, strong acids, strong bases, ammonia, amines and rubber. Keep containers tightly closed and labeled. Always refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for detailed information on handling and disposal.

And CHEMBLUE Corporation guarantee that PA do not include any hazardous or regulated materials during the manufacturing process.
