Ceramic pulley friction lagging for belt conveyor systems is mounted on pulleys in order to
achieve a better force transfer and/or adhesion between belt and drum.
A further important aspect is wear protection; by the high level of abrasion resistance and
great hardness of ceramics, it is enabled that, pulleys can be used for many years without
renewal of the friction lagging, as well as without downtime of the system and the associated
loss of production.

Ceramic Strip Lagging is specially designed to provide maximum traction(co-efficient of
friction) between the pulley drum and the conveyor belt. Therefore increasing drive efficiency
by preventing slippage.
Ceramic Strip Lagging is perfectly suited for high or low belt tension, high wear and/or wet
operating environments.
