532nm wavelength

Using high power semiconductor at 808 nm to pump in an optical sense a crystal that produces light of a wavelength of 1064 nm, this light in turn casts upon a duplicating crystal (LBO-triborate lithium) to halve the wavelength of 1064 nm and emit green light of 532nm. It controls the exit of green light using very short pulses.

The dermal penetration of the 532nm wavelength is extremely superficial (1- 2 mm), allowing bloodless treatment. With its high absorption by oxy- haemoglobin and melanine, it is effective in the treatment of pigmented and vascular skin lesions.
