Earthquake Resistant Rubber Bearing - 'ERB PLUS - SLIDING'

▶ Earthquake Resistant Rubber Bearing Sliding Type(ERB-S) is specially designed bearing which PTFE and stainless steel plate is attached in the existing ERB bearing for sliding.

-The existing elastic bearing is bad applicability due to buckling about height increase when it is applied to a point with large displacement. However, ERB-S has improved this disadvantage by introducing sliding on the elastic bearing.

-It is possible to apply continuous to multi span of bridges by applying to the point where the movement amount of bridge is large.

▶ Features of ERB-S

-It is a bearing that can perform sliding behavior by attaching STS and PTFE to ERB PLUS-S top plate and end plate respectively.

-Existing elastic bearings are not applicable due to buckling due to height increase when applied to large displacement points, but ERB PLUS-S improves these disadvantages by introducing sliding on elastic bearings.

-The multi-span continuous bridge with ERB-S minimizes the number of expansion joints and improves the running ability and reduces the maintenance cost of the expansion joint.

*Other features are the same as existing elastomeric bearing.
